Southern visitors

I've been to the Gatton Speedway since I last posted. My Dad has a Dwarf car that he races at the Speedway, so we headed up to Gatton for his first night of racing for this season. He did quite well, coming second overall for the night. He was happy! He has a new motor in it, so it takes a bit of tinkering to get the set-up just right...well, that was his excuse anyway! Hopefully he might go one better at the next meet.

I got out there to find my Uncle Graeme(Dad's brother and my godfather) was there to watch Dad race. He lives in Portland, Vic and were up for Indy. So he headed out to Gatton from the Gold Coast for the racing. A total surprise to me, but it was great to see him.

My Uncle and Aunty were up at Indy with a young Japanese driver named Akuri, who is staying with them and races in the Ozcar class. He drove alright, and was offered a job driving for Paul Morris Racing here in Brisbane, which they are all very excited about!

So, today my Uncle Graeme, Aunty Jenny, my cousin Kristi with her daughter Skye and Akuri popped in and spent a few hours with us before heading to the airport to fly home. Ella loved Skye, and Zac had Akuri playing Xbox, which he enjoyed!
It was nice catching up with them. It doesn't happen too often.

Here's my Aunty Jenny and the gorgeous little Skye. She's 10 mths old now! She is such a happy little girl. She has changed so much since I last saw her back in January. I got a cuddle and a few kisses, she's very willing to give kisses away!

Chat to you all soon,
Chelle Xx

Hi Chelle -

2nd overall? Your dad must be pleased ... who knows what will happen after a bit of tinkering!

Cheers,
