The perfect revenge?

I saw this on the news last week and thought I'd share with you.

A guy in a band in Canada, flew United airlines and they broke his guitar while putting it on the plane. He complained to the airline but to no avail. After several months of phone calls to and from, nothing happened. They wouldn't replace the guitar.
So, he wrote a song called "United breaks guitars" and posted it on Youtube. It has received well over 4 million hits. It was a huge success, beyond his wildest dreams.
In a bizarre twist, this song wiped over $180 million or 10% of United's Shares market value. Can you believe that??

Maybe they should have just replaced his $1200 guitar???

I love it...it is the perfect revenge!!
You can read about it here.

Here's the Youtube song...

Exactly why I insist they let me take my violin as carry-on luggage, even though I've had them claim before that I can't have my violin as carry-on because the bow could be considered a sharp weapon!

Airlines can be ridiculous at times, so good on this guy!

What a great story. I love it and yes it is sweet revenge and I'm so glad it cost them so much more than just the replacement of the guitar
