The Hangover

Have you seen this movie?
It would have to be one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.
It had me in hysterics from start to finish...Totally cracked me up.

It's about a Bachelor Party and they wake next morning and can't remember a thing that happened the night before. To make matters worse they lose the buck! LOL
If anything can happen...it does! A total laugh...hehe

It's released on DVD today.Think I might have to go out and buy it!

I loved it!!

Well, after many many months of waiting, I went and saw New Moon on Sat night. My friend Gyps organised a Breast Cancer Fundraiser at Star Class at Logan Hyperdome. So good seeing a movie like that with friends! There were plenty of OOoo's and Ahhhh's at certain stages of the movie...something to do with a certain werewolf taking his shirt off. Man, were they ripped?? LOL
It would nearly want to make me change sides, from Team Edward to Team Jacob!
Poor Jacob, he's never gonna get the girl no matter how good his six pack is?? Sad really? LOL

After seeing the movie, my SIL Manda and friend Tanya headed back to the City to catch up with 2 good friends of mine, Carly and Rach. I worked with these 2 gorgeous girls a few years ago.Love them to death. We had such a fun night out with them and their crazy antics.
It's been a while since I've come home in the cab as the sun is coming up.
I'm not as young as I used to be!! LOL

It's Friday, yet again!!
Work for me today!

Before I headed out the door this morning, I snapped this pic.

We've had some visitors in Brisbane this week. The Black Hawk helicopters are in town doing some training. On Tuesday you would have thought you were in Iraq, without the guns of course. Flying around the City in a formation of four. The kids have loved watching them do laps from our front deck. Very cool to see.

Plenty this weekend for us. Ella has a Kindy friends Birthday, I'm going to see New Moon and catch up with some girlfriends for drinks afterwards. Should be fun!!

Scrapchat "Ohana" Retreat

Wow...what a weekend!

I had another awesome time away with the Scrapchat girls.

A fun weekend of scrapping, plenty of drinks, some Singstar and time with great girlfriends.

It started on friday with a Scrap Crawl...much like the pub crawl variety, except with Scrap shops(lol)...and met up with Manda, Kylie and Susan. We stopped for a delicious lunch before heading to the house on the Gold Coast and meeting up with everyone.

We had a real house full this time around. So many interstate girls, which was fabulous. It's always lovely meeting in real life after chatting online for so long.

Saturday night was our themed dress up night...Roaring 20's...which was so much fun!

Lots of drinks, laughs then Singstar came out and I loved every minute of it!

Wooohoooo...it's Friday!!
I'm heading off to the Gold Coast straight after this post !!
It's my bi-yearly trip away with the Scrapchat girls!! I can't wait!!

A whole weekend of scrapping, wine, food and great friends...oh and a very fun dress up night thrown in.

We have lots of girls from interstate coming this time, as well as a Nth Qlder...quite a few of them I've never met in real life, but we chat away online. Can't wait to meet them!!

A Quick share today...

I have been working on some new DT layouts or Anna's Craft Cupboard the last week or so and found I've created quite a few, so I thought I'd share some.
Anna sent me the new Crate papers. Some of the best papers I've played with in a while. Very me and very easy to scrap with!!

Jase and I just watched "Confessions of a Shopaholic" on DVD. What a funny movie, with a happy ending of course! Love those chick flicks!!

Another fabulous night with Adam Brand...

I never get tired of seeing him sing.
On Sunday night we went to Twin Towns on the QLD/NSW border and had a fabulous time. We arrived around 3pm and headed downstairs to have a few drinks with friends. So nice to sit, chat and catch up with what's going on. Back to the hotel room to get ready before enjoying some dinner, then heading to the show for a 7.30pm start.

The support act was Liam Brew and Sam Hawksley, who both did a few songs each and one together. Liam Brew was the 2009 Tamworth Starmaker winner, so we saw him perform in Tamworth. A very young new star on the scene, while Sam Hawksley actually plays in Adam Brand's band, but is a solo artist as well.

Then the man himself came on stage. Nearly 2 hrs of songs, laughs, a few stories, a dance with Jade and of course some crowd participation. Gotta love that!!
I love seeing him sing, and we've introduced a few friends to his music. We took Barney the other night...more a rock'n'roller, but he loved the show and his music. I think I've converted another one!! LOL
He was heading out to buy his latest album this week!
Maybe Adam should be paying me comission??? Haha
