Not much to chat about today, just thought I'd share a few L/O's!

At New Years, we took these silly photos while waiting for the fireworks to start over the city. My pics of the fireworks didn't turn out, so I had to scrap this funny pic from the night. We were killing ourselves laughing at these. Finally found some bling at the Paperarts festival, so put it all together!

Back on track

After a hell week last week, we are finally getting back on track. Zac and I are feeling much better after our tonsilitis, but are still on our antibiotics. Ella's nose didn't develop into anything and I think Jase just needed some R & R. After a few quiet days at home,(with lots of sleeping) he went back to work on Thursday.

So, on Sunday we decided to have a day out. We headed up to Bribie Island for Fish'n'Chips and a swim. The kids had a ball in the surf. Ella's only been a few times, but loves wandering around in the sand and water going over her toes. She squeals with delight! Zac ran in and out of the surf, getting hit by a few waves when he wasn't looking. Lots of fun! I couldn't get over the people at Bribie. Heaps of people around, making it hard to get a car park. It's a popular spot!:)

Sick Household

It all started with Zac on friday night, up late vomitting. The rest of us felt ok, til today!!
I took Zac to the Dr's and he has tonsilitis, Jase came home early from work - he was actually there for around an hr this morning, Ella has a runny nose and I have a sore throat with lots of aches and pains!

Depressing huh?

Hope things get a little better as the days go on...Zac is on antibiotics for the next 10 days!!

UPDATE: I, now have tonsilitis as well - Ouch! Quiet week for us this week!

I've moved to the OTHERS!!

Reality Scrap - week 5 was to create a L/O using BG Papers, which I just LOVE. I did it on Ella and Jase. Still had a few pics left over from our photo shoot at Roma st Parklands late last year. I love this one....Daddy's girl.

Although, it wasn't enough to stay in the game, so Trish and I have moved to the Others. In another twist, this week, partners broke in to solo participants. Now things will start to get interesting.....:-)

Meeting Online Buddies!

Saturday went so fast for me! Renae arrived at my house at 9.30am on the dot, and we head off straight away to Lisa's shop - The Scrapbook cupboard - at Oxenford. Got there at 10.30 after stopping for munchies on the way.
Had a great crop, not that I got much completed! Too much chatter I think!!
I met up with some old friends and also met some new ones, that I've ben chatting to for quite some time. Finally got to meet Gypsyangel(Karen), Renaecrosby(Renae), Dee(Dee), Miss cropalot(Heidi) and Binrow(Robyn) and then caught up with some old friends in Scrapmanda(Amanda), Ms Zane(Zane), webgod(Pam), Scrapgoddess(Leanne), Scrapwitch(Lisa), Astrostar(Miranda), Gibsongang(Lisa), Tiddlypeep(Tracey) and Trish(Tiddly's sister).
Hogs Breath at Mermaid was a hoot!! Heaps of fun, chatter, about 20 cameras - I'm not kidding!!)So, between all of us, there are a bazillion pics!! We seemed to be the rowdy table, I don't think the staff knew what hit them!
A fabulous day was had by all...can't wait for the next one, which is actually a get-together with all the Brissy/Gold Coast girls up at Mt Tamborine in 6 weeks time. Seeing I know most of them, it will be great!!

Come on tomorrow....I can't wait!

Tomorrow, I'm heading down the coast to scrap at The Scrapbook Cupboard at the lovely Lisa's shop. There will be quite a tribe of us, as I'm meeting up with a heap of the girls from Scrapbooking Memories Forum. Should be a fun filled day with heaps of chatter, laughter and a bit of scrapping. Some of the girls I have met before, some I am meeting for the very first time.
Scrapwitch(Lisa), Webgod(Pam) and Scrapgoddess(Leanne) are up from the Central coast of NSW, so we're making a BIG day of it. Scrapping all day and then dining at Hog's Breath that night. I sooooo can't wait! I met the girls at the PaperArts Festival in Sydney in Nov last year. I had the best time...and can't wait to catch up with them again and to meet up with some Brissy and Gold coast girls I chat to.

So, look out Sunday night, I'll have heaps of pics to share. The camera is charged and ready rearing to go.....

Love the rain

Don't you just love the rain? It's a sound we don't hear much here in Qld...or even Australia for that matter!

The kids and I are having a quiet day today, although all they want to do is go outside and play. They have been like caged lions...although both are in bed fast asleep at the moment. Did a little scrapping this morning. I finished off a CJ and am now working on my L/O for this week's Reality Scrap Challenge.

Thought I'd share a couple of L/O's.

This one is a photo of all our family - my Mum's side - when I was on holidays recently, in Victoria. There is quite a few of us now.


I've been trying to finish off Ella's album of her first year. In this photo she was about 8 mths old.

Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa

Today we had a BBQ at Grandma and Grandpa's(Jase's Mum and step-dad) for their 25th Wedding Anniversary. It was nice and warm, a lovely 34 degrees in Ipswich today!!- I'm joking, it was very hot and everyone was complaining about it! - Especially Aunty Tracey, who did herself an injury yesterday, but I can't tell you or she would kill me!! Let's just say it's quite painful and in an obscure place! LOL There....I didn't tell!!

The kids had a fun day playing with their cousins - all 5 of them!! It would be nice to get a good pic of them all looking - spose you can't have everything!!

Tidying up

I've been tidying up my photos this morning, and found these...they are pics of my "Who do I Love" journal I made in Zina Wright's class, while in Sydney at the PaperArts Festival in November last year.

I so Love this journal! I took it to a crop just after I'd finished it, a lady read it and started crying....Wow, was it that good? She said it was very touching! :-)

Reality Scrap - Week 4

Thought I'd share with you my L/O for this week. The topic was a little harder than previous weeks, and we had the choice of a Detour(like the Amazing Race).

It was a ABC-123 Challenge.

Too long to list...but heaps of fun!
We weren't lucky enough to win Friday night games...we played Bingo, but lots of fun chatting!

I also got my Card done today for my Emily Challenge this afternoon. This week's topic was "What you miss". I did a sentimental card. As both my Mum's parents - my grandparents - are looking down from heaven. So, I dedicated my card to them.
